The ballad of BLACK ROSE
Once there were four guys who dreamed of playing great music in a great band. Bill was a bluesman through and through. To him, you couldn't be a good band without feeling and passion. Doug was a rippin' and rockin' axe man. He searched high and low for guys who could rock, but who also shared the same realistic vision of a band. A band that was tight and fluid. Jim was a great drummer who had played the circuit many times before. He wanted to be the backbone of a band that sounded great being themselves. No pretensions. Mitch was a bass player. He just wanted to rock. Seriously - for now and the future - rock rock rock!
Doug knew Bill. Doug knew Jim. Then, Bill knew Jim. Together they stole Mitch from another band. Mitch suffered from Stockholm Syndrome. Mitch dove right in. Jim and Mitch got tight with the rhythm. Bill played whatever instrument he was called on to play. And Doug, he swings his axe with the right mix of authority and passion.
Everyone's dream is coming true.
